This is officially the week of #Deadpool, with the movie grossing more than 4 times it’s budget in the opening weekend itself! Yes, the film was awesome! Not so much in India though. As you must have heard, the Censor Board cut out the just the ‘bad words’ and the gory scenes from the Indian version. Wait what? Bad words AND gory scenes? That’s what Deadpool is about right? Well, the Censor Board in India doesn’t seem to get it, and they went ahead and made Deadpool as sanskari as it gets!

Anyhow, keeping this special week in mind, let’s look at some of the runway trends that were based on superheroes! Yeah, that’s right, superhero inspired fashion shows. And not just any label, it’s Victoria’s Secret at that! It happened back in 2011 at the Lexington Armory in New York City, but it sure is worth a mention here!

Not just VS, Jeremy Scott’s Fall 2011 collection at the New York Fashion Week was inspired by DC superheroes!

Damn cool ain’t it??

It’s not just the ladies in those hot super-designs! Moschino’s Fall Winter 2007 collection saw Clark Kent walk down the ramp! Even the luxury label 2(X)IST presented a line of superhero inspired briefs at the Men’s fashion Week in 2011! Yeah, superheroes in the inners, and their capes of course.

We incorporated the same idea for our #SuperTrendinThursday this time, and here’s how it turned out!
